Discover our roadmap for impact:

Project Biodiversity's Strategic Plan 2024–2028 outlines our vision, priorities, and path forward.

Our Strategic Plan

In 2023 our team gathered for one week to think about the future of Project Biodiversity. As a result, we created our new Strategic Plan from 2024 to 2028. This document will guide us for the next 5 years, setting the key actions to achieve the priorities of our 5 big ambitions. The Strategic Plan will also help partners and donors in identifying the best ways to support us.

Our Strategic Plan

Beyond environmental conservation in Cabo Verde, our objective for Associação Projeto Biodiversidade has always been about its evolution. Starting in 2015, the first step was the conservation of sea turtles on Sal, which identified as a significant need for the island. But from the very beginning, we envisioned other programs to give answer to all the threats and opportunities that the island always carried. A clear example is the inclusion of the iconic Red-billed tropicbird in our logo, although at that time, we knew little that Sal is one of the most important locations for this species in the North Atlantic

Become part of our sustaining donor family!

When you become a monthly donor, you join a special part of our community - a group of individuals committed to supporting the conservation of some of the world's most endangered species - and inspiring local communities to do the same.

As we look ahead towards the next years – we're aiming to strengthen our financial foundation so that our impact can spread even further and wider than ever before. You can help us fuel that impact by becoming a sustaining donor.  By committing to a monthly donation, you’ll help secure a future for our programmes and the people and wildlife they support.
